1. Moesgaard Museum

Prehistory presented innovatively in a breathtaking architectural setting makes for a world-class museum experience when you visit the Moesgaard Museum. The past becomes alive and the people in the exhibits will step forward and provide the visitors with a better understanding of the past and how we arrived at where we are in the present.

2. ARoS Aarhus Art Museum

ARoS is the main art museum in Aarhus and one of the largest museums in Northern Europe. On the roof of ARoS you can also visit Your rainbow panorama from here you can move around in a 150 meter long, circular panoramic path with 360º views of the surrounding city.

3. Den Gamle By - The Old Town Museum

The Old Town is a National Open Air Museum of Urban History and Culture. The attraction has been awarded three Michelin stars. It is a living and breathing experience of what it was like to live and work in a Danish market town, as it was in the old days.

4. The Steno Museum

At the Steno Museum for the History of Science and Medicine both children and adults can go on a trail of discovery in the natural sciences and can explore the cultural history of medicine. Here there are scientific instruments, an array of fascinating inter-activities where, amongst many other things, you can test Galileo’s law of gravity, or play with your own mirror image.

5. Natural History Museum

Experience the museum's four permanent exhibitions and changing special exhibitions. This includes getting close-up to the animals on the African savannah or time travelling through the Danish landscape from the Ice Age to the present day.

6. Tropical Houses at the Botanical Garden

The new Greenhouses in the Botanical Gardens are ready to welcome you inside, where numerous plant collections are presented in four different climate zones.

7. The Women's Museum in Denmark

The museum is one of the world's few women's history museums, and is situated in the city's old city hall (1857). In these historic surroundings the focus is firmly on women's lives.

8. Godsbanen

Godsbanen is a centre for cultural production in Aarhus. With open work shops, studios, project rooms, theatre stages, auditoriums, dance halls and much more, Godsbanen provides every opportunity; whether you want to stage a week long theatre festival, practice your dance moves or perhaps host a meeting.

9. Aarhus Theatre
